Program Description

Clear uninhabitable homes from lots to ready them for new construction, and we’ll waive the landfill fees.

 

Qualifying lots include those identified as dilapidated in the 2019 Norton County Wide Housing Study with confirmed plans to build a residence on the lot, or confirmed sale to builder/developer with permit to build a residence, or donation of lot to City of Almena, Lenora or Norton Landbank.

Application Review Process

The appropriate City Clerk’s Office and City Council of Almena, Lenora or Norton, depending on home location, will accept and review applications for this program.
